Little Learners Day Care Centre in Truganina and Tarneit has continued to operate throughout the pandemic, helping families through the unsettling time.
Centre Director Vicky says this year has been a unique one and difficult for everyone, but allowing children to maintain normal routines created some much-needed stability for families.
“We were very fortunate we were able to continue to support our families and community through a very unsettling time,” Vicky says.
“I’m very proud of our passionate team at Little Learners Day Care Centre who continued to remain committed and dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for our children and families this year.”
With a focus on providing clear communication to families during the uncertain time, the Little Learners team pulled the community close and followed all advice to keep its big and little people safe, and most importantly, keeping children heading home happy each day.
It is this emphasis on creating a nurturing and enriching learning environment that allowed Little Learners Day Care Centre to grow and open its second Childcare and Kindergarten centre in Tarneit earlier this year, and Vicky says being a family-run business has a lot to do with it.
Little Learners Day Care Centre offers care from six weeks to five years and has a government-approved Kindergarten program, with an extensive focus on preparing children for school.
Dedicated cooks are on hand to prepare healthy, multicultural meals, sourcing products from the local community where possible.
Little Learners Day Care Centres are located at 591 Tarneit Road, Hoppers Crossing and 2 Perennial Drive, Truganina and are open 6.30am-6.30pm Monday-Friday.
