Construction of the new $45 million police station in Werribee is expected to finish by the end of next year.
Werribee MP Tim Pallas visited the construction site last week to meet with local police officers.
Mr Pallas said the new Werribee station would be one of the the state’s largest police complexes, outside the Melbourne CBD.
The complex will be able to house more than 460 staff and officers, including uniformed, crime investigation, transit safety officers and administration staff and will be located at 134 Princes Highway.
It forms part of the broader Wyndham Justice Precinct being developed as part of the Werribee National Employment and Innovation Cluster.
