It’s all happening

Growth is blossoming around Verdant Hill, with plans for sports fields, schools and a town centre all nearby and construction of new homes well underway.

Purchasers within stages 1 – 4 are already enjoying the completion of settlements, with many homes almost ready to be moved into.

One of the great beauties of Verdant Hill, is its exceptional location amid a host of new community facilities and destinations.

Already, the estate enjoys quick and convenient access to everything that nearby Tarneit and Truganina have to offer, including established shopping centres, cultural centres, schools and services, as well as the train links and freeway to the city and beyond. But enhancing these existing services, a range of new amenities are soon to start construction.

At Verdant Hill, planning and preparation is well underway for the development of a brand new, purpose-built sports precinct, complete with multi-use playing fields, hardcourts and teams’ facilities. In addition to on-site parking, a network of walking and cycling trails will lead to the precinct, passing through parklands and gardens dotted with picnic spots and casual play areas.

A rejuvenated riverbank precinct will also feature at Verdant Hill, aimed not only at helping to restore the delicate eco-system for local wildlife, waterbirds and aquatic animals, but also to provide an inspiring and educational setting for young minds to explore nature and gain a better understanding of the environment and the world they live in.

Slightly further afield – though only a few minutes’ walk from Verdant Hill – the future Kenning Road Town Centre is destined to bring a range of retail, commercial and community facilities to the doorstep of Verdant Hill. This combination of proximity and separation will give Verdant Hill residents all the convenience of a local shopping centre, but without the noise or traffic in their own residential streets.

Plans for a new railway station will further add to the convenience for locals who will be able to catch a train and be in the heart of the city in around half an hour, or Geelong equally as quickly.

With stages 1 – 4 delivered, and stages 5 and 6 only weeks away from settlement, new residents will soon be settled and ready to welcome neighbours. Those who have purchased in stages 8, 9 and 10 will see construction of civil works underway at present.
