The Werribee City Centre can now boast a premier recreation and events space, with the new and improved Wyndham Park now open to the public.
Located on the banks of the picturesque Werribee River, to the north of Watton Street, the space is already proving to be a hit with residents and visitors.
Among the features of the new and improved park is a massive lawn to host a range of events, including markets, concerts and festivals.
Two playgrounds are among the highlights for the little ones, with an adventure play space, which is home to a 12-metre tower, slides, climbing frames and more; while the nature play space includes a cubby house, teepee, and fun water play features.
Other additions to the park include BBQ’s, toilets, new pathways, increased lighting, improvements to cycling access, viewing and rest areas, and outdoor exercise equipment.
